According to Mary Beth Reeves, Former Corporate Trainer for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, there is a simply trick to securing yourself a better room. “For a free accommodation upgrade, request a ‘corner room.’ These are typically categorized as ‘standard rooms’ but can be larger and often have a phenomenal view.”
