Shop Smart Magazine recently did an article on brand name vs. store brand products and they were surprised by the results. Below is a list of those who won and their cost savings.
Kirkland Signature Salsa (Costco brand) was the winner compared to Old El Paso Salsa. Cost savings: 44% cheaper.
Great Value’s (Walmart brand) Whipped Topping was the winner compared to the Cool Whip brand. Cost savings: 45% cheaper.
Sam’s Choice Cranberry-Raspberry Juice Cocktail (Walmart Brand) was the winner compared to Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry Juice. Cost savings: 20%
