Come Clean: What’s Your financial Confession?

We’ve all spent our money on something that we convince oursleves “we have to have”.

And maybe some things are embarrassing to admit, or maybe now, they make you laugh. Either way, confessing your financial oops can be a good thing, and it can help you avoid similar financial flubs in the future.

When we formed the Smart Cookies Money Group our favorite time of the night was getting to spill the details of our “money confession”.

Ever bought 4 bottles of wine for a dinner when you only needed two? We’ve been there.

Ever spent $300 on a new dress for a date with a guy you’ll never see again? We’ve been there.

Through moments like these we learned that one member of our group needs to have a closet exchange before her big dates so rather than spending money on a new outfit she can borrow one from her money group member.

So now we open up the time of confession to YOU. What’s your biggest financial goof? When was the last time you spent money for a lost cause?

There’s something freeing about sharing so free yourself and join as we all get real!
