Find $100 This Week!

Think you have to go into debt this season to pay for your gifts? Or worried you won’t have enough to pay for the gifts you really know will make those you love smile? Well, it’s Tuesday and we challenge you do one thing each day this week that will add up to a minimum of $100 in found money.

Ready¦set¦go (find your money)!

Think of what you could do with $100 extra dollars this week to give to those you love and those in need.

1. Tuesday: Plan to carpool for the rest of the week. It’s so much easier than you think. Check out eRideShare.com to find someone in your area looking for a ride share. If you’re in a major city like New York or San Francisco visit www.Rideamigos.com, to find a commuter match. Average found money on gas: $40

2. Wednesday: Don’t Go Grocery Shopping. We guarantee that you have enough groceries in your kitchen right now to cook fabulous meals for the rest of the week. Don’t know where to start? Go to www.supercook.com to get started. Average found money: $50

3. Thursday: Sell your stuff. You should probably think about de-cluttering anyway before your holiday guests come over (what? we’re just saying!) So go find something, a little black dress you never wear, (your old wedding dress, Katie and Robyn did it!), a piece of furniture, electronic equipment¦you get the idea. Take a photo, write a description and post to www.craigslist.org. Average found money: $50

4. Friday: TGIF! Now go return something. Do you have a shirt in your closest you recently bought, didn’t wear and is still hanging with a tag in your closest? Did you really need to buy that new red table cloth, matching napkins and plates? Do a quick audit of recently bought items. We challenge you to find one or two things you know you could really do without. Most stores have good return polices over the holiday’s so even if you don’t have a receipt it’s still worth a try. The best part about the money you find today: it’s for donation it to your favorite charity. Average found money for GIVING :$30

Happy Holidays to you!
